    學習和掌握數字信號處理的基本理論,及其算法實現的基本方法,了解信號處理在工業界的實際應用(衛星通信系統、無線移動通信系統、語音系統等)

    課程內容主要包括:

    1) 數字信號與離散時間系統的時頻分析方法(The analysis approaches of digital signal and discrete-time systems)

    2) FIR/IIR濾波器結構和濾波器設計( FIR/IIR filter structures and design)

    3) 多抽樣率系統和濾波器組( Multirate Systems and Filterbanks)

    4) DSP基礎與算法實現(DSP basics and Algorithm implementation)

    5) DSP在實際工業界的應用 (Practical industry application of DSP)

    1.    Introduction (3 hours):

    (1)    The course outline;

    (2)    Introduction to signals and systems;

    (3)    Introduction to DSP Implementation

    (4)    The typical applications of modern digital signal processing;

    2.    The analysis approach of analog and digital signals, continuous-time and discrete-time systems (18 hours):

    (1)    Fourier Transform of continuous-time signal and system;

    (2)    Discrete-time signal representation and basic operations;

    (3)    Linear-Time Invariant systems (LTI);

    (4)    Discrete Time Fourier Transform (DTFT)

    (5)    Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT)

    (6)    Circular convolution and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)

    (7)    Spectral Analysis by DFT.

    (8)    z-transform and the LTI system analysis by z-transform (transfer functions亚博电子游戏官网,zero-pole analysis,frequency response);

    3.    Digital Filter Design (6 hours)

    (1)    Introduction to Digital Filter Design (Finite Impulse Response Filters,Infinite Impulse Response Filters,Linear Phase FIR Filters and Allpass filters)

    (2)    Digital IIR Filter Design (Filter Specification, Coefficient calculation, realization of filters亚博电子游戏官网,Butterworth, Chebyshev, and Elliptic filters)

    (3)    Digital FIR Filter Design(Digital FIR filter design by Window Methods, Digital FIR filter design by The optimal method, Frequency Sampling Method for linear phase digital FIR filter design)

    4.    Multirate Signal Processing and Filterbanks(6 hours):

    (1)    Sampling Theorem;

    (2)    Decimation and interpolation;

    (3)    The polyphase decomposition;

    (4)    Design of practical sampling rate converters.

    (5)    Digital filter banks, uniform filter banks and their relation to the DFT

    5.    Digital Filter implementation and Finite Wordlength effect(3 hours):

    (1)    The effect of data representation in DSP;

    (2)    The coefficient quantization effects in filter implementation;

    (3)    The A/D Quantization effect;

    (4)    Arithmetic Round-Off Errors;

    (5)    Limit-cycle;

    (6)    Analysis of round-off errors in the implementation of radix-2 FFT.

    6.    Introduction to Digital Signal Processors(3 hours):

    (1)    General-purpose digital signal processors;

    (2)    Introduction on the mainstream DSP processors;

    (3)    The family of TI TMS320 processors;

    7.    DSP algorithm implementation and real industrial applications(6 hour)

    (1)    Design flow of the real-time DSP system亚博电子游戏官网;

    (2)    DSP implementation of signal spectral analysis by FFT;

    (3) DSP application in Satellite Communications;

    (4) DSP application in Wireless Cellular Communications;

    (5) DSP application in Speech/Audio systems.
